# Sixteen years building one company, then a series of hard turns.

Event production, wearable hardware, conversational AI, four podcasts, a community, and a statewide radio mesh that works when the network doesn't. Everything below is something I built, ran, or still run.

Company2007 – 2023 Endless Events Founder & CEO I started Endless Events at 17 and spent sixteen years building it into a technology-first event management company producing events across the country. In January 2023 I stepped down as CEO; it runs without me. Details

## Endless Events

Company Founder & CEO2007 – 2023

Sixteen years, one company. Endless Events grew from a teenager with speakers in a car into one of the most recognizable names in the events industry, producing events nationally with technology at the center rather than bolted on. In January 2023 I hired my replacement and stepped down — the clearest signal that the business was never dependent on me.

Company2020 – present #EventProfs Community Founder I built #EventProfs as a case study in turning an event into a private community, technology stack included. It is where event and marketing professionals talk between the events. Details

## #EventProfs Community

Company Founder2020 – present

I believe community is the future of events, and of marketing. Most event and marketing professionals could not see how an event becomes a community, so I built #EventProfs to show the whole thing in public — the programming, the moderation and every piece of technology holding it together.

Thesis An event is the start of a community, not the end

Built Programming, moderation, full tech stack

Open sourceCurrent Arizona Meshtastic Builder & organizer I help build an off-grid communications network across Arizona on Meshtastic — cheap LoRa radios that pass messages with no cell service, no internet and no license. The state mesh is past 1,100 nodes, and I build private meshes for events on the same hardware. Details

## Arizona Meshtastic

Open source Builder & organizerCurrent

Meshtastic is a free, open-source mesh network: small, affordable radios that send text messages and share location off-grid, with no monthly fees and no license required. Arizona’s mesh is now past 1,100 nodes and still growing node by node; azmsh.net is where a newcomer picks hardware, gets settings right, joins a channel and hosts a node of their own. I build and maintain that site, help people get on the mesh, and stand up private mesh networks for events where cell coverage cannot be trusted.

Open sourceCurrent Garden Godmother Creator A self-hosted garden management app built on Next.js, FastAPI and SQLite. Runs on your own hardware, so the garden data stays yours. Details

## Garden Godmother

Open source CreatorCurrent

Self-hosted garden management: what is planted, when it went in, what needs doing next. Next.js front end, FastAPI service, SQLite for storage — small enough to run on a box at home and never phone anywhere.

Open sourceCurrent Tempest Mesh Weather Creator Auto-broadcasts Tempest WeatherFlow conditions and severe-weather alerts to a Meshtastic mesh via MeshMonitor. Local weather keeps moving when the internet does not. Details

## Tempest Mesh Weather

Open source CreatorCurrent

A bridge between a Tempest WeatherFlow station and a Meshtastic mesh: current conditions and severe-weather alerts are pushed to the network through MeshMonitor on a schedule. The point is redundancy — the mesh keeps carrying weather when cell and internet are down, which is when it matters.

Open sourceCurrent Morning Dad Joke Creator A daily dad joke broadcast to a Meshtastic mesh via MeshMonitor. It gives the network a reason to say good morning. Details

Open sourceCurrent Resolume Beat Sync Creator An AI-powered beat-synced visual loop generator for Resolume Arena. It builds loops that land on the beat instead of near it. Details

## Resolume Beat Sync

Open source CreatorCurrent

A generator for Resolume Arena that produces visual loops locked to the beat, so a set can be built without hand-cutting every clip. Written in Python and aimed at the practical problem of having enough usable material on the night.

Open sourceCurrent Buzz Creator Buzz — a tapback-driven trivia game for the Meshtastic LoRa mesh, played through MeshMonitor. 232+ questions, a leaderboard, and an anti-grind guard so nobody can farm it. Details

## Buzz

Open source CreatorCurrent

A trivia game that lives on the mesh itself. Questions are broadcast through MeshMonitor and answered with tapbacks, so playing needs nothing but the radio you already carry. It keeps a leaderboard and guards against grinding, which matters when the whole network can see every answer.

Open sourceCurrent Rivian for TRMNL Creator A TRMNL e-ink plugin that puts a Rivian's state of charge, range, cabin temperature and open-panel status on a desk dashboard. Data comes via Home Assistant, so nothing but your own hardware ever talks to Rivian. Details

## Rivian for TRMNL

Open source CreatorCurrent

The screen is deliberately quiet: when everything is fine the check row is a line of ticks and the vehicle diagram is all outline. Leave a window down and the affected panels fill solid. And when the data stops arriving it says so plainly — which is the entire reason the plugin is built this way rather than showing a stale number.

Open sourceCurrent MeshMonitor Contributor A web tool for monitoring a Meshtastic node deployment over TCP/HTTP. I contribute to it, and it is the piece my own mesh broadcasts run through. Details

## MeshMonitor

Open source ContributorCurrent

MeshMonitor gives a Meshtastic deployment a real dashboard — nodes, traffic and health over TCP/HTTP rather than squinting at a phone app. It is also the backbone for the things I build on top of the mesh, from the weather bridge to the morning dad joke to the trivia game.

## Meshtastic for Apple

## FranklinWH for Home Assistant

Open sourceCurrent Electric Forest Mesh Creator & maintainer An unofficial community guide to using Meshtastic at Electric Forest — how to find your squad on a festival site with no usable cell service. Details

## Electric Forest Mesh

Open source Creator & maintainerCurrent

Electric Forest puts tens of thousands of people in a field where the cell network folds by Friday. efmesh.com is the guide for getting a crew onto a LoRa mesh instead: what hardware to buy, how to configure it, which channel to join, and how to actually find each other once the phones stop working. It is the clearest example of the two halves of what I do meeting in one place — festival and radio.

## EF Mesh Ambassador Firmware

Open sourceCurrent Fade Out Creator An automated DJ mix upload pipeline. Drop a recorded set into a watch folder and it analyses the audio, builds the tracklist, generates cover art and descriptions, uploads to SoundCloud and YouTube, then verifies each upload. Details

## Fade Out

Open source CreatorCurrent

The gap between finishing a set and having it published is an hour of tedious work: pulling the tracklist, writing a description, making artwork, uploading twice, checking both landed. Fade Out closes that gap to zero. It watches a folder on the NAS, reads the audio for duration, BPM and key, parses the cue sheet or infers the tracklist, generates the metadata and branded thumbnails, pushes to both platforms and pings Discord when it is done. Built as a single-user self-hosted tool for a trusted home network — FastAPI behind a React front end, shipped as a Docker image.
